Crazy K Ranch of Michie raised $3,000 at a New Year’s Eve Fundraiser
Crazy K Ranch of Michie raised $3,000 at a New Year’s Eve Fundraiser featuring the band, Prowler which was attended by over 250 attendees from surrounding counties. “Because the Crazy K Ranch family has also been touched by cancer, as so many other families in our area, it was a no-brainer as to where we wanted the money to go. $3,000 isn’t much when battling cancer, but we hope it is a baby step in the right direction toward beating the dreaded disease,” said Becky Adkins, Event Coordinator at Crazy K Ranch. “We know people that have used the services of The Darryl Worley Cancer Treatment Center. By having the treatment center so close to home brings us hope that as a community we can beat this thing. When we walked into the center and saw all the people from our area waiting on their treatments, it really provided a sense of comfort. The staff we met at the cancer treatment center was very nice and is doing a great job,” Adkins added. Shown at the check presentation are (l-r): Jennie Harper, Kim Denson, Anthony Knight (Crazy K Ranch), Becky Adkins (Crazy K Ranch) presenting check to Nick Lewis, HMC CEO; Connie Hurt, and Jan Morton.
